Oscar de la Renta 2012

30 Aug

Amid Oscar de la Renta’s characteristically exceptional bridal offerings—Chantilly lace sheaths, lavishly ruffled ballgowns, ladylike trumpet silhouettes, and romantic veils—were several ultrawhimsical outliers marked by the sort of details and textures that would appeal to an imaginative young girl decorating the bedroom of her dreams: Cotton candy pink and blue hues, shimmering iridescent sequins, downy-soft white fur, and billowing tulle (for the canopy bed?). For the bride and groom, assign them to practice smiling and advise them to warm up with exercises that actors use to loosen up any tension in the body and face. For instance, some exercises include pursing lips and moving them in a circular motion, as well as massaging and stretching.
